How I Can Help

Types of sessions include 1:1 for Executive Coaching or Return To Work or group sessions specifically for returning to work.

 

1:1 EXECUTIVE COACHING 

Each session is tailormade to you and the topics that you would like to work on.  Depending on your needs, packages varying in length from a two hour booster session to a full 12 month package.  However, most individuals’ needs are catered for in 3 to 6 sessions. This can all be decided by you during your free 30 minute consultation session. 

 

The sessions will include an initial Self Reflection Questionnaire to be completed before the first session, accountability hold points, and depending on the topic of discussion, possible further exercises to complete at home. 1:1 RETURN TO WORK

These sessions will enable you to regain your work confidence, remind you of who you were before children and help you to focus on what you need to put in place to make your return to work as smooth as possible. We will also look at the multitude of emotions that you may be feeling about going back to work. 

 

Once you have returned to work, the sessions will focus on helping you to navigate those first few months and enable you to successfully juggle the demands of work with the demands of being a parent. The sessions will help you to focus on what is important for you during these months and cope with any uncertainties that you may have as you progress. 

 

Each session is tailormade to you and the topics that you would like to work on.  Depending on your needs, packages varying in length from a two hour booster session to a full 12 month package, but most individuals’ needs are catered for in 2 to 5 sessions. This can all be decided by you during your 30 minute consultation session.

1:1 CAREER BREAK / CAREER CHANGE 

The aim of these sessions is to breakdown the emotional barriers that are stopping you from going back into the workplace.  It will enable you to focus on why you want to go back to work; deal with the multitude of emotions that come with this life change; regain your work confidence, focus on what you really want to do; and enable you to formulate a plan to get you in your new role.  Once back in the workplace or new role the package can be extended to help you to settle into your new role and help you to build proper foundations for this new stage in your life.

THE POSITIVE METHOD COACHING

Using positive psychology, the method empowers you to realise your unique strengths and the positive impact you have on your network.  It helps to remind you of your best self.

 

Uncovering or reminding ourselves of our strengths is gained using Point Positive.   Unlike other coaching tools, Point Positive does not rely on technology to generate an opinion, instead it works on using a collection of personal stories that have been gathered from your colleagues, friends and family.  The stories only focus on when you are at your best.  There is no better way to make you realise how good you are, than by it being told to you by the people whose opinion you value the most. Once we have garnered all these great stories, we will then work through them to understand what all your unique strengths are and devise ways that you can keep them at the forefront of your mind.

GROUP WORKSHOPS

 

RETURNING FROM MATERNITY LEAVE     

Sometimes it is easier to work through things, build up your confidence and make a plan when you are with likeminded people who are all in the same situation. 

 

Just like the 1:1 sessions these workshops will enable you to regain your confidence, remind you of who you were before children and help you to focus on what you need to put in place to make your return to work as smooth as possible.

 

I offer two types of workshops for you to choose from.  The more comprehensive one will include the Positive Method.

CAREER BREAK / CAREER CHANGE 

It is sometimes easier to do things in a team and help each other out when we get stuck. That is the same as these group workshops as not only will you build up the strengths and skills to get back into the workplace, but you will also build a network of likeminded people who are in the same position as you.

This workshop will help you to deal with your fears and any mental blocks that you might have put in place to stop you from taking that next step forward. It will help you to regain your work confidence, focus on what you really want to do and enable you to formulate a plan to get you back in the workplace. 

 

It also includes tips finding out what you would really like to do as your next career step, on networking, writing your CV, updating your LinkedIn profile.
